ACTIVITIES FOR YOUR VIRGIN ISLAND YACHT CHARTER 

There are plenty of activities on board our Virgin Island yacht charter La Buscadora to keep everybody entertained. 

La Buscadora's 24ft tender is incredibly well suited for a day cruise to secluded beaches, diving, snorkeling and water skiing. With its fresh water shower and ample amount of space and room for all activities it's the perfect tender. Many mega yacht charters do not have tenders of this size and capabilities. 

Snorkeling
This is probably one of the most wonderful things you will ever do in the Virgin Islands! It is easy to learn to snorkel and once you have mastered it then a whole new world of beautiful coral and colorful tropical fish awaits you.

If you wear prescription glasses we strongly recommend that you consider buying a mask with special lenses fitted inside. Contact your local dive shop ... it is a simple procedure and will add immeasurable pleasure to your snorkeling. We have 25-30 sets of professional quality masks, snorkels and fins and can fit most people.  If you have unusual sizes we can also arrange for rentals for you.

Water skiing, skurfing, tubing and knee boarding with motor yacht charter La Buscadora's tender is a joy ...  it doesn't get much better than this!  A 200 hp engine provides more than enough power, we can even start two slalom skiers at once. Lots of interior space and seating means everybody can come along for the ride, whether you are participating or not. The crew loves to instruct. We have adult skis and junior skis. Tubing is a great activity for those younger members ... we can have them squealing in delight.

Fishing
We are not a big game sport fishing boat but we will gladly arrange for the serious deep-sea fisherman, a rendezvous boat and captain for a days blue water fishing. For "bone fishing" enthusiasts, the remote BVI Island of Anegada boasts some of the finest bone fishing in the Caribbean. We will gladly arrange for a rendezvous boat and guide. 

For those who love to put a hook in the water for fun, La Buscadora has three spinning rods with ample lures, two trolling rods with rod holders in our tender and lots of "gourmet" bait from the galley. We have been known to land game fish such as Tarpon, which love to swim around La Buscadora at night in large schools. When weather permits we can take the tender out to the BVI drop-offs for mahi mahi (dorado), tuna and wahoo, always on a catch and release basis. 

Kayaking
Virgin Island Yacht Charter La Buscadora has two kayaks; one single and one tandem. Kayaking is one of those wonderful activities that needs five minutes or less of instruction ... almost anyone can do it. It's a great way of exploring the shallow inlets of BVI anchorages.

Hiking and Fitness
There are several easily accessible trails on Peter Island, Mosquito Island, Virgin Gorda, Jost Van Dyke and Tortola; many of them are hardly used. The British Virgin Island views are spectacular providing many photo opportunities. We would be happy to accompany you on these adventure tours and act as your guide, or point you in the right direction for those of you who prefer to explore on your own.

Mega yacht charters often boast exercise equipment; La Buscadora has an exercise machine (Versa climber) which simulates mountain climbing or a Stairmaster.  This is a  great way of staying in shape while on board Motor Yacht Charter La Buscadora in the Virgin Islands.
